The German government justifies the persecution of homeschooling families on the basis that "The public has a legitimate interest in countering the rise of parallel societies ..." On the other hand however, the German embassy is promoting parallel societies in South Africa by supporting German schools. The Association asked the German embassy for an explanation. Their response is provided here.
